Overview

Coalescence is a dating app that respects your privacy and your wallet. It's built entirely on Apple infrastructure — there are no third-party servers and no separate account to create. You sign in with Apple, your data lives in your iCloud and Apple CloudKit, and payments go through Apple.

Profiles use first names only. Photos are screened on your device before they're ever uploaded, and messages between matches are end-to-end encrypted — we can't read them, and neither can Apple.

A free tier with everything you need to match and message, plus two affordable premium tiers. No dark patterns, no surprise charges.

We don't want to charge you for an app you're not using. If your account goes inactive, we downgrade premium benefits, send you reminders with a one-tap link to manage your subscription, and eventually remove the dormant profile.

Privacy & Safety

• Built on Apple: CloudKit storage, Sign in with Apple, and Apple-handled payments — we run no servers of our own.
• Encrypted messages: Only you and your match hold the keys.
• On-device photo screening: Using Apple's Sensitive Content Analysis and Vision frameworks — photos aren't sent to a moderation service.
• Coarse location: City-level and rounded to roughly a kilometer; distances shown only in approximate ranges.
• Adults only: Strictly 18+, with date of birth used to enforce it.
• You're in control: Delete your account anytime — deletion is immediate and permanent.

Safety Reminder

Coalescence does not conduct background checks. You are responsible for your own interactions and any in-person meetings — meet in public, tell a friend where you're going, and trust your instincts. Report and block tools are built in.
